J's Credit Education Services

    Being a single mother of five children, I have always worked several jobs at the same time, but I was never educated on the importance of credit. In my late 20's, I finally learned how important it was to have a good credit history. Even though I heard the words, I still wasn't sure what that meant! I didn't take that seriously until my 30's. At that time, I was planning to buy a car, so I went to a Chevy dealership. When they told me my credit score was 515, my expression when from hopeful to disappointed. That same day, I decided to change my mind set about credit. I got into credit groups on Facebook, ordered books, started reading more and taking in the knowledge I'd learned. I started applying it to my situation. In 30 days, I got my credit score up to 650.  After 60 days, it was in the 700's. I then started working on my friends and family's credit and noticed that everyone was seeing increases in their scores within 2 weeks! My 24-year-old was able to graduate high school with a 720-credit score This is what inspired me to start J's Credit Education Services in 2016, so I could educate others on the importance of having a good credit history.
